Promoting and supporting tree growing initiatives aimed at environmental rehabilitation and restoration with the view to contribute to climate change mitigation and resilient livelihoods. CODEA supports smallholder farmers to engage in tree growing using technical models that can yield double benefits for humanity and ecosystems. The common technical models include agro-forestry, boundary planting and woodlot establishment. Since 2015, farmers in Kasese district have benefited from our tree growing interventions and already have success stories to share.
