We increase accessibility to clean renewable energy technologies and support community uptake. In partnership with CSOs, private sector and International NGOs, CODEA works to increase access to affordable solar PV systems and energy saving cook stove for livelihood improvement and Green House Gasses emission reduction. We employ innovative business models to address the barriers limiting the adoption of clean renewable energy technologies at household level with special focus on rural communities in Uganda. In the recent years (from 2013), CODEA has reached hundreds of households in Kasese district western Uganda with support from WWF-UCO.
