Nature Conservation

CODEA works to promote and support the conservation and management of natural resources upon which life depends. Our interventions include training of farmers and other stakeholders, increasing access to clean renewable energy, sustainable management of river catchment areas, promoting tree growing initiatives, as well and supporting green businesses/ nature-based enterprises.

Our interventions are designed to reduce pressure on natural resources and to restore the degraded areas and ecosystems, mindful that present and future generations equally need ecosystem services. This area further involves innovative actions aimed at mitigating climate change.
